Barrister Mrs. Onomen Briggs, Executive Chairman of the Edo State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), used the Sallah break this week to tour and inspect ongoing renovation and reconstruction works at five primary schools across Edo Central.
The schools—Obeidu Primary School; Eko‑Iyobhebhe Primary School; Ididigba Primary School; Uwalor Oke Primary School; and Uwesan Primary School—are all receiving upgrades designed to improve safety and learning environments, including the installation of perimeter fencing.
In brief remarks, Mrs. Briggs underscored the Board’s commitment to ensuring these essential infrastructure projects are completed ahead of the next school term. She also appealed for continued collaboration with the state government and development partners to sustain the momentum of school improvements across Edo State.
