Dr. Paddy Iyamu, Chairman of the Edo State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), has again taken significant steps to align with the Federal Government’s budget provisions for Nigerian children in the 2025 budget. This initiative reflects the efforts of His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo, to enhance educational opportunities for children.
Speaking during meeting in Abuja with Hon. Yetunde Adeniji, Special Adviser to the President on School Feeding, Dr. Iyamu highlighted the need for collaboration and the effective implementation of the budget allocation. He pointed out that these efforts are crucial for the welfare of students in Edo state, who are vital participants in the renewed hope agenda for Nigeria.
In response, Hon. Adeniji commended Dr. Iyamu’s proactive approach so early in the year, recognizing his commitment to improving the conditions for children across the nation. She highlighted that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is dedicated to the wellbeing of all Nigerian children and holds a special place for them in his vision.
